Samsung continues to upgrade more phones to Android 15 with the stable One UI 7 update. The Galaxy A54’s build arrived in Asia before being shipped to Europe. As expected, the upgrade is now available for eligible phones in the US for carrier-unlocked models.

Samsung is rolling out a stable A546USQUBDYE5 update in the US. It is for the carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy A54. The update size is 3.5GB and includes loads of new features and optimization. Additionally, it comes with the latest Android OS and the May 2025 security patch to enhance security.
If you are wondering, the update is available on Metro PCS, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. We expect an expansion to other carriers in the coming days/weeks. Nonetheless, you can head to Settings>>System updates>>Download and install. Follow the screen prompts to complete the download and reboot your device to finalize the installation.
After the upgrade, expect future updates, which will include the upcoming One UI 8. The device arrived with Android 13 and has received one OS upgrade already – Android 14. With Android 15 currently rolling out, the phone is eligible for Android 16. We expect the rollout to start later in the year.
