As Samsung prepares for the One UI 8 stable release, and the beta preview is currently ongoing, eligible One UI 7 phones are still getting the update. The Korean company has just released the Galaxy A05s One UI 7 update to a few individuals and regions.

The Galaxy A05s One UI 7 update was released in August 2023 running Android 13. Its first OS upgrade arrived in 2024 with One UI 6.1. With One UI 7, the device gets Android 15, and that is not where the journey ends. It is eligible for One UI 8, currently under testing, and expected to arrive later this year. Meanwhile, you need to install the Galaxy A05s One UI 7 update first.
Details of Galaxy A05s One UI 7 stable update
Samsung is rolling out a stable A057FXXU9DYE5 build. The update size is 2.66GB. It comes with the May 2025 security patch to increase system security alongside other features. Additionally, it includes big fixes, optimization, and AI-powered features.
Unfortunately, only select countries are receiving the update but we expect a wider availability in the coming days. If you are in Thailand or Vietnam, the update should be available via Settings>>System updates>>Download and install.
Some features coming with the Galaxy A05s One UI 7 update
Because it’s an entry-level smartphone, only a fraction of the One UI 7 features are available for the device users. They include new app icons, a new battery charging animation, and Live Notifications.
There is a massive UI redesign, more adjustable home screen widgets, better privacy and security, more accessibility features, and smoother animations and transitions. To enjoy all these features, you need to download the new update.
